So you’re curious about strength training or you’ve already been training for a while. You’re looking to meet other students like you: intelligent, ambitious, hard-working, and interested in staying healthy. Or maybe, that’s the kind of person you want to become. 

We’re here to provide you with the community & resources you need to start lifting. If you already train, we can help you get better. 

For some, lifting can be meditation, for others, picking heavy things up and putting them down is just a great way to de-stress with your friends. Our members know, regardless of how life, work, & school go - 200 pounds is always 200 pounds.

Upper Body-Push clinic (U of T Movement Clinic)

The following is a promotion for the U of T Movement clinic series, and is in no way affiliated with the U of T Ironsports Club. 

The bench press, incline bench press, and push press are exercises considered to be "push" exercises.  They all have a few common principles that can be applied to all of them.  Join the upper body-push clinic and learn how to effectively perform these exercises and how to apply basic upper body movement principles to other push exercises.

You can register for any of the Movement Clinics at http://www.recreg.utoronto.ca/ or by visiting the main office at the AC or the first-floor service desk at Goldring.  Registration is now open. $20.
