So you’re curious about strength training or you’ve already been training for a while. You’re looking to meet other students like you: intelligent, ambitious, hard-working, and interested in staying healthy. Or maybe, that’s the kind of person you want to become. 

We’re here to provide you with the community & resources you need to start lifting. If you already train, we can help you get better. 

For some, lifting can be meditation, for others, picking heavy things up and putting them down is just a great way to de-stress with your friends. Our members know, regardless of how life, work, & school go - 200 pounds is always 200 pounds.

Power Clean Clinic (U of T Movement Clinic)

The following is a promotion for the U of T Movement clinics, and is not affiliated with the U of T Ironsports Club

The power clean is an Olympic lift movement used by many strength coaches and trainers to increase power and strength.  This movement is highly technical and is often used by individuals attempting to develop power and explosiveness.  Join this clinic to learn proper technique and the basic principles of performing a power clean.

You can register for any of the Movement Clinics at or by visiting the main office at the AC or the first-floor service desk at Goldring.  Registration is now open. $20.
